Sibutramine 20 is a stimulant-type appetite suppressant that works by increasing levels of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, reducing food cravings and promoting satiety. It has a recorderd halflife of Two hours. This means that the drug is metabolized and eliminated from the body relatively quickly.

The recommended dose of sibutramine is usually 10-20 mg per day taken orally with a glass of water.  It is associated with significant cardiovascular risks such as heart attack and stroke, so it should not be used in people with a history of these conditions or other risk factors such as high blood pressure or diabetes.

It is important to note that this drug is rarely available on the market due to possible side effects such as increased heart rate and blood pressure, dry mouth, constipation, and insomnia.
